Applying to the Fund

Deadlines and proposal formats

Complete grant applications are due on March 1 and September 1.  Decisions are made when the Board of Directors meets in June and December.  

Past Grantees

Past grantees should contact the Fund by email each year, in advance of reapplying.

If you are applying to the Fund for Change ONLY

  • To streamline the proposal process, we are now using Google forms. Please click here.

  • The Google form can be saved.

  • If you have any questions or are having any trouble using the form, please reach out to Jen, jeames@associated.org.

  • The cover letter and proposal narrative are now one Google form.

  • All supplemental documents can be uploaded with the Google form submission.

FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS

Please submit a brief Letter of Intent (LOI) to Jen Eames (jeames@associated.org) that answers the following questions (feel free to use bullet points):

·       What is the mission of the organization?

·       What community issue does your organization or project address?

·       How do you address it?

·       Do you plan to partner with other stakeholders or groups doing this work?

·       How does your work fit into the broader ecosystem of what is being done to address this issue in Baltimore?

·       How do you know that your work is making a difference?

·       Please provide the dollar amount that you are requesting.

·       Please include an organizational budget that includes current sources of funding.

·       Please include a list of your current board members.
